Connect Google Search Console
SEO Desk pulls data directly from the Google Search Console API using OAuth 2.0. Your data is never stored on our servers — every request is made live on your behalf.
What permissions are requested?
SEO Desk requests only one OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly
This gives SEO Desk permission to read your Search Console data. It cannot change settings, submit sitemaps, or modify anything in your GSC account.
Which properties will appear?
All GSC properties that the connected Google account has at least Restricted access to will be imported automatically. This includes both domain properties (e.g. sc-domain:example.com) and URL-prefix properties (e.g. https://example.com/).
Connecting multiple Google accounts
You can connect more than one Google account. Go to Settings → Connected accounts and click Add account. Properties from all connected accounts will appear in a single unified dashboard.
Revoking access
You can revoke SEO Desk's access at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps, or from Settings → Connected accounts inside SEO Desk.
Troubleshooting
Properties aren't appearing
Make sure the connected Google account has been granted at least Restricted access to the property in GSC. Owner-level access is not required.
Data looks out of date
SEO Desk syncs data every 24 hours. Google Search Console itself has a data delay of 2–3 days, so the most recent data in SEO Desk reflects that inherent delay.
