Period comparison

Compare any two date ranges side by side to surface trends, measure impact, and catch problems before they become critical.

Enabling comparison mode

1. Open any property or group.
2. Click the date picker in the top-right corner.
3. Toggle Compare on.
4. Choose your primary range and comparison range, then click Apply.

Preset comparisons

The date picker includes built-in presets for the most common comparisons:

• Previous period — same length, immediately before the primary range
• Same period last year — year-over-year, accounts for seasonality
• Previous month / quarter

Reading the results

In comparison mode, every metric card shows a delta badge — a green upward arrow for improvement, red downward for decline, and grey for no change. The threshold for "no change" is ±2%.

The query and page tables also gain a Δ column showing absolute and percentage change for clicks, impressions, position, and CTR.

Sorting by change

Click the Δ column header to sort by biggest winner or biggest loser. This is the fastest way to find which pages or queries have improved or declined most in the selected period.
